Max's All Stars improve to 6-0 at ABC Hoops

Yesterday, Max's All Stars got the win at ABC Hoops vs The Come Up by a final score of 56-54. Branden Gibson, Corey Orgias, Herman Billups, Jason Lewis, Marvin Billups Jr, Spencer Smith and Troy Whittington overcame an extremely sloppy performance (along with a number of missed calls from the officials) against a hungry opponent. Max's All Stars rallied, coming back from a nine-point deficit with about three minutes remaining to win the game. In the final seconds with the game tied at 54 a piece, Corey got a good look at a potential game-winning 3-pointer, but it rimmed out. Luckily, Troy was there for the rebound and was fouled as he attempted the putback with 1.5 seconds remaining. Troy calmly went to the line and sunk both free throws to win the game. Also, Troy was named Player of the Game for the first time this season.
