Max's All Stars get redemption over "Bouncers" in McBurney YMCA regular season finale

Max's All Stars ended the McBurney YMCA Adult Basketball League regular season with a redemption win over "Bouncers" by a final score of 62-51. The team played very well and overcame some rather poor officiating. King Pommells hit back-to-back 3 pointers in the 3rd quarter, Nikola Djurdjevic did a great job defending #3 for "Bouncers" (their best player) and the All Stars closed the game out after letting the opposition creep back within one point midway through the fourth quarter. Both teams clinched a first round bye in the playoffs. The teams split their regular season meetings (1-1), but Max's All Stars have a +9 head-to-head point differential.

Midway through the second half, the game turned into a dunk contest as Mike Viola and Reed Morgan exchanged throw downs, but nothing highlight worthy.
