Max's All Stars advance to Harlem4Life Championship Game
Max's All Stars advanced to the Spring 2013 Harlem4Life championship game with a 68-57 semifinal win over the house team. In the first half, Max's All Stars did not look good at all, falling behind by 13 points early. However, they responded with a 14-2 run to cut the deficit to a single point at halftime. In the second half, Max's All Stars again fell behind - this time by seven points, but they rallied one more time and took the lead for good. Anthony "Africa" Pimble, Corey Orgias, Darryl "Truck" Bryant, Dave Seagers, Kiwan Smith, Marvin Billups Jr, Patrick James and Rob Thomas all contributed to the win.
